Eggs for breakfast anyone
Eggs for Breakfast anyone??
NOOOOO it can't be time.. it really just
Anyone that really knows me knows my LOVE of Cadbury Creme Eggs. I could sit and eat them until I am sick...SICK I tell you. And the only time you can find the buggers is around Easter time...
now unless someone has warped me forward... uh... didn't we just finish Christmas and New Year? Or is Easter coming early and no one has told me yet? Please say it ain't so..
Today I was at Wal-Mart and could not believe my eyes... I looked to my left and there were, on sale nonetheless, the chocolate Brach's Stars... tempting but mmm... nah...
But THEN... Heaven help me I had to look to my right and out of the corner of my wandering eye, there they were in all their blue, red and yellow foil splendor, calling to me... mocking me... almost like the rabbit was there sticking its tongue out at me... and as hard as I tried to resist, I couldn't...
SIGH! but hey they were on sale .50!
I love them so much... when I competed the first time in November of 2002... I told all my friends all I want after such strict dieting was Cadbury Creme Eggs... My then BF and still good friend now, George, looked everywhere for them... but it was fall and no Cadbury goodness was to be found... but being the great and wonderful person he is... he contacted the company to get some... Were sorry we only make them around Easter time...he was told...
So when I competed again in 2006... my friend Robin actually stocked up on them... she doesn't care for them so it was no temptation for her, and she kept them in her freezer... And when I was SUPPOSED to compete once more this Sept 2009 (but didn't) my lovely friend Erin had been stocking up on them for me, apparently their gooey goodness does not tempt her either, and she brought them with her when she flew to IL from PA! AHHHH I love my friends....she brought me the small ones that come in an egg carton and like 3 of the big ones..
I know they gross some peeps out but OMGosh I love these darn things... that and some stale peeps (you know the marshmallow chicks) and I am in my glory when I get my Easter basket!
