I feel like a STAR...

ahhhh.... once again a nice fresh cut and some grays covered up  - wow some makeup and a fancy dress and I'm ready for the red carpet!...

I never stray (well not purposely but have had a screw up in a salon once)... but I never stray from my natural color...  even though as a child I HATED growing up with red hair... I've learned as an adult its ok to be different

I've heard it said that only 5% of the population has natural red hair!

I admit I got away for a long time to the grays not showing... and maybe its a red head thing but its only been last few years I've had to cover up the gray...

But talk about feeling like a star... my hairdresser comes to ME!!  yes I know... your jealous its ok ;o)

Seriously... after moving here I had to find a new hairdresser and I kind of lucked out.. I took a chance on first place I walked into and Melissa has turned out to be pretty darn cool!  You want to talk about a southern accent!  Well Melissa has left the shop she was at, waiting for her friend to open her shop and because of permits and such and well they are slow here in the south... the shop that was to open in Jan is not open yet!

So the last two times in December and today Melissa has come to me.. I know that will all come to and end when the shop opens but hey I can enjoy the perks for now!  Along with some manageable hair again...

I wish my hairdresser would come to my house...then I wouldn't have to get a babysitter to get my hair done.

My hair is naturally blonde with some light brown and red "accents". I always coveted my Irish grandmother's red hair so I started going auburn in high school and haven't really looked back since!
