Why is it??

Why is it when your down in the dumps about something, that something is thrown in your face, what seems like a million times a day?

Ok ok so that is a bit of exaggeration but I'm feeling down in the dumps enough about the fact I will likely never experience motherhood (as in giving birth) so why is every message I read about just that??

Why was today's sermon about parenting?

Why is it I seem to be seeing an unusual amount of pregnant women?

Why is it when you can't have something it is always right there in yo face???

I don't know why that is, but I feel and understand your pain. I don't know why you won't experience motherhood, giving birth, but I've been there, done that, wrote the book so to speak. We were infertile and ended up adopting two kids, but those years of infertility I remember so well all the emotions you expressed today. I never did experience giving birth, BUT God blessed me so incredibly in that I got to meet a young woman and mentor her and be a very close friend of hers and for her second child, she invited me into the delivery room when the baby was born as I had never seen a baby born. I got to go to some of her prenatal visits and hear the baby's heart beat, feel him kicking etc. The night/day he was born was the best in my whole life. I was so grateful for that experience. God did give me the desires of my heart but years later in a totally unexpected way, but a good way because He is always good. Were the infertile years easy, nope. Hard ones. But they helped shape me to be who I am right now in the Lord. But I do feel your pain. and I am soooo sorry. I do understand

I am sorry that you are going thru this. I can definitely sympathize with you. While I now have my two beautiful kiddos, we struggled with infertility before number 1 came, and secondary fertility after number 2. I remember every teenager seems to show up with an unwanted pregnancy, the "baby day sales" at Target which bounced all over my computer screen, and the lessons I taught to my SS class was "Hannah" All that in a short period does make you cry out "WHY GOD?!" I don't have an answer, but HE will on the other side. Saying a prayer for you today!
