Tracks of Life

Like railroad tracks on the path of life

We’ve traveled side by side separated by life’s ties

But each tie we’ve faced, both good and bad

Has lead us to this great life to be had

A life that’s only been dreamed of yet never obtained

This life dream, it can be yet one must risk both head and heart

And make a promise to and from each other we will never part

No matter the obstacles and trying times that we might face

These now crossed tracks have brought us to this place
