CoopKeeper's Sausage with berries
Mix together:
1lb lean ground turkey breast2 egg whites1/4 cup of chopped onion (about one small onion) (I prefer to cook them just a bit first)6 tablespoons (1/2 cup) of old fashioned oats1 teaspoon of salt (less if you prefer)1 teaspoon of black pepper (less if you prefer)1 teaspoon of sage 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper (i like spicy if you don't lessen this to a dash)( you could also sub red pepper flakes)
Form this mixture into patties - I can get 5 patties out of this that are decent size.
Brown on both sides in a hot skillet and cook until cooked thru (this will vary depending how high you have your burner)
Pair this with a fruit of your choice...
the stats for this recipe making 5 patties is (this DOES NOT include the fruit)
